"Dr. Pat 2.0" is a hybrid inspection vehicle that can detect damage to pavement, expansion joints, and tunnels before it occurs, without imposing traffic restrictions. By using optical fibers with special lenses to project light at an angle, it is possible to reveal cracks. Additionally, by colorizing the road surface images, rust and corrosion have become easier to identify. Furthermore, it captures images of tunnel lining surfaces while in motion, detecting damages such as cracks, water leaks, and rust seepage, achieving effects equivalent to close visual inspections by inspectors.
